How cool is this? A film is being shot in our street. Check out the pictures of the camera crew and motorcycle stunts people. The photo was taken out the loungeroom window. The film is called Pizza Mafia and it is based on a Dutch novel for teenagers by Kahalid Boudou who also wrote The Schnitzel Paradise (no, never heard of it either). From my research, Pizza Mafia is about two rival pizzerias owned by Moroccan brothers in Holland and features “an adolescent who tries not to lose his head in a chaotic adult world”. Somewhere in the film a pizza delivery motorcyclist crashes – in our street! You might see me or Sean crossing the street in defiance of the film crew saying “huh? We don’t speak Dutch. Sorry.”
Oh, and I will post something about Sean’s experiences in Sarajevo but he has to vet my manuscript first. Tonight he has a rendezvous at a cafe with a French femme (his French tutor apparently!) so it will be sometime after that.
